Daniel Barboza is an electronic musician, composer, and sound designer, specializing in electronic soundscapes, cinematic textures, and immersive sonic environments. His work is inspired by the impact of sound in powerful storytelling, creating emotional connections to listeners, and blending naturalistic sounds with the abstract to heighten the human experience.
Daniel is a graduate of Mills College where he earned an MFA in Electronic Music and Recording Media, studying composition and audio technology with John Bischoff, James Fei, and Maggi Payne (2019). He has formerly taught private guitar instruction and piano classes in elementary schools across San Diego County. Daniel is currently working as an Audio Artist at Schell Games in PIttsburgh, PA, where he creates audio and composes music for video games and VR experiences.
